Revit rooms, a core element in Revit (in my opinion) but also under-utilized. We all know how powerful Revit is with modeling, scheduling and creating documentation. The room component has been an element that I try to use and exploit as much as possible. I have used them to create end-user plans to aid in space planning. I have used them to create Finish Plans for interior designers. They can be used purely for consistency in tagging plans, sections and elevations. This of course only scratches the surface of rooms and is part of why I am writing this post. This definitely will not be my only post on the subject and you need to know! Keep an eye out for video tutorials on how I have used rooms and the parameters within in Revit.
