I’m so excited to share this article from Medical Design & Construction Magazine about Winthrop University Hospital new research building and expansion to their campus. The new facility was design by Perkins Eastman Architects and the CM on the job was Lend Lease.
I’m excited about this project as it was one of the projects I managed in Revit (Come on everyone, this is a BIM blog) but I’m also excited because the project was entirely done in BIM. All trades, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural and Architectural all worked in BIM. What was also great is Lend Lease used the models for coordination of the construction with the use of Navisworks and Revit.
More information on the project below.
