So there is no guessing that I am BIM/Revit enthusiast. I basically taught myself the software in my thesis year of college in order to utilize the strength of Revit and to get some rest during my last year.
That being said, teaching Revit at CCNY and knowing what firms are looking for, especially large ones like NBBG, I really support the idea that BIM/Revit should be taught earlier in school as a perquisite. Understanding digital tools like Revit, Rhino and Max will allow young designers more time on designing in/out of school and the skills to get jobs simply by leveraging software effectively.
